The Equality Virginia 2010 Art Show and Benefit runs from April 9 through April 30 at the GCCR Gallery.

In addition to the juried art show, which includes works from over 30 contributing artists, the show also features the works of Louis Briel, 2010 EV Art Show juror.

In 1997, Mr. Briel was asked to create artwork for the playbill for Barksdale Theater's production of Terence McNally's LOVE! VALOUR! COMPASSION!  His photo essay, entitled "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," was shown at Barksdale concurrent with the play.   

Mr. Briel has donated the original collection of twenty photographs from the Barksdale show to benefit the Richmond Triangle Players and the Gay Community Center of Richmond.  The pieces will be available for sale for the duration of the show at the GCCR Gallery.
