EV Law Day Program: Legal Issues for GLBT People and their Families

An overview of the legal environment in Virginia post Marshall-Newman will be covered.
 
In addition several workshops will be offered such as Advance Medical Directives and End of Life Issues, Creating a Stable Legal/Financial Base, Issues Related to Birth Certificates and Driver’s Licenses for Transgender People, and Addressing Discrimination in the Workplace. Who Should Attend: Lawyers and non-lawyers alike are encouraged to attend this program which is being submitted for approval for CLE credit.
 
What Will It Cost: The registration fees for this program are as follows: $125.00 for non-EV member lawyers; $100.00 for EV member lawyers; $50.00 for non-lawyer non-EV members; $35.00 for non-lawyer EV members/donors; $15.00 for students (with current ID)
