At Equality Virginia, we were on the edge of our seats last night. Check out these big wins for the movement.
Tammy Baldwin was elected the first openly gay senator in U.S. history.
Maine and Maryland became the first states to affirm equality with a public vote become the seventh and eighth states to allow marriage.
Washington is projected to join Maine and Maryland in allowing all couples to wed.
Minnesota voted against Amendment 1 that would have defined marriage between one man and one woman.
And…President Obama, the first president to support marriage equality, is re-elected.
Now, we’re building momentum for Virginia as we jump into the gubernatorial race.
You set the course for the next four years in America and now it’s time to do the same at home.
We’re ready, are you?
