We’re going live for a discussion with LGBTQ youth and advocates to talk about the Virginia Department of Education’s (VDOE) newly released guidance regarding the treatment of transgender and non-binary youth in schools! The new policy is set to go into effect at the start of the 2021 – 2022 school year and in light of the recent lawsuit filed against VDOE, we know that trans-affirming families, educators, and administrators may have concerns. To help answer your questions, please join us for a moderated panel discussion on Wednesday, May 12 at 6:00 pm.
