Dustin Keith (he/him) joined Equality Virginia’s board in 2022 and is a native of Lebanon, Virginia in Russell County, “the Heart of Southwest Virginia.” He is a Prevention Specialist with Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board, serving Buchanan, Russell, & Tazewell Counties, where the opioid epidemic has devastated families and communities for over 30 years. On issues including substance abuse, mental health, suicide, chronic disease, and sexual health, Dustin leads collaborative efforts in multiple community coalitions.

Dustin also works as a Realtor & property manager with Stuart & Associates Realty, specializing with first-time homebuyers, small business entrepreneurs, and renters, and serves as President-elect of the Southwest Virginia Association of Realtors.

Dustin has a passion for mentoring students, serving as the Lebanon High School Academic Team Coach, a member of the People Incorporated Project Discovery Advisory Board, and a member of the Virginia YMCA Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee. 

Dustin is fiercely supportive of his community and involved with several service organizations. He is an Area Governor for Rotary District 7570, Past President of the Russell County Rotary Club, and a Paul Harris Fellow. Dustin holds the Real Estate Development seat on the Board and serves as Chair of the Upper Tennessee River Roundtable, a non-profit organization working to improve and educate the community on water quality in the Southwest Virginia watershed.
