Narissa Rahaman is an experienced advocate and campaign manager who currently serves as an Associate Regional Campaign Director for the Human Rights Campaign, managing legislative and electoral efforts across southern states. She brings 10+ years of experience in long-term strategic planning and implementation of organizing efforts, legislative advocacy, strengthening of partnerships, coalition management, and staff development. Narissa’s commitment to social justice and centering community fuels the work she does every day in the fight for full liberation for LGBTQ+ people. She is originally from Barbados, but was raised in Florida and has slowly been making her way up the East Coast. Narissa currently resides in Richmond, Virginia with her partner and their miniature long-haired dachshund named Rocket.
