We realize legislators in Virginia have been trying to attack and limit LGBTQ+ Virginians access to affirming, supportive, safe healthcare. We will continue to provide resources and information detailing how to access care. Ensuring affirming care for transgender and nonbinary Virginians is accessible and safe in Virginia is a priority.

Virginia Anti-Violence Project
Virginia Anti-Violence Project is a center for anti-violence knowledge, community outreach, advocacy, and transformative justice trainings. They join the local communities to assess and address exclusionary issues together. With the help from advocates, they also provide direct services. They hope to build communities where everyone is accepted and universal connection can flourish.

Program/service: 24/7 Hotline
Purpose: To provide immediate free and confidential support to LGBTQIA+ individuals who’ve experienced abuse, stalking, or assault.
Audience: LGBTQIA+ individuals who have experienced stalking, abuse, or assault.

Nationz Foundation
Nationz is dedicated to educating the public about health, wellness, and HIV prevention. They hope to inspire Central Virginia communities to take ownership of their health and encourage them to be more inclusive towards LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Purpose: To provide LGBTQIA+ people of Richmond with a resource to combat hunger

Purpose: To break the barrier of transportation in order to supply residents of the greater Richmond area with safe sex items, contraceptives, and HIV testing.
Eligibility: Residents in Henrico, Richmond, and Chesterfield areas in search of HIV testing, contraceptives, etc.

Virginia League for Planned Parenthood
Virginia League for Planned Parenthood aims to ensure that Virginians have the freedom to make reproductive choices right for them through creating a space that provides accessible information and a safe, confidential environment. They believe that by empowering individuals by giving them control over reproductive choices will result in healthier families and communities.
Program/service: Annual Exams, Pregnancy/Abortion Services, gender affirming care, and STD/HIV testing
Purpose: To provide accessible and safe health services, while also giving the power to individuals when making reproductive choices. Supportive doctors help patients to understand their choices, provide affirming services, and educate.

Health Brigade
Health Brigade seeks to offer a comprehensive and innovative approach to healthcare with special attention to cultural sensitivity, compassion, and patient satisfaction. They provide a variety of services including primary care, trans health services, needle exchanges, advocacy, and mental health services.
Program/service: Health services
Purpose: To provide affirming and free healthcare and mental health services to those who are least served within our community.
Eligibility:
1. You do not have medical insurance, including: Employer, Medicaid, Medicare Parts B, C, & D, and Veterans Benefits
2. You are not eligible for Medicare Parts B, C, & D, Medicaid or Veterans Benefits
3. You have lived in one of our service areas in the state of Virginia for at least 6 months
4. Your income is between 139-200% of the Federal Poverty Line (see income chart)
